Men’s Day | Sunday, June 17, 11am Service
“Men Growing in Christ So Others May Know Christ”
Guest Speaker:  Rev. Tyrone Stott, Sr., Scotland AME Zion Church, Potomac, MD

Evangelism is an area of needed growth. Once a hallmark of Wesleyan thought, many United Methodists have lost our knowledge, commitment, passion, and experience for sharing social and personal holiness. As disciples, we need to learn to speak about our faith, build relationships in which we share our faith, and live confidently in the power of The Gospel to bring hope to people suffering in despair, injustice, and need. Emory Grove, Mill Creek and Epworth UMCs will join in a three-part workshop which will include four different presenters with four different models of evangelism. The final session will be led by Pastors Jen and Tim as we develop concrete steps for a missional evangelism strategy in greater Gaithersburg. This is critical for the next steps in the energizing kingdom vision God is giving for Gaithersburg. Please join and re-learn the power of our faith and our Wesleyan witness.
